You say 'yes" and dive right in. Come up for air, as you need.

Or not.

But you ill not be satisfied until you experience her.

R,
I didn't think your comment sounded dark at all. And I certainly do understand and agree with the wisdom of "achieve and leave." I guess your words just really prompted me to think about how much and how often many of us automatically close ourselves off just at the point when we should go deeper - especially in love. And for that prompt, I thank you ;)

Great words Elizavette! I really didn't mean for my comments to sound dark and dreaded. It was more of a vision of the Superstar retiring after winning the biggest game of his/her life. I just love Provocs dark side along with the bright side. Great stuff, incredibly inspiring.
Thanks again Provocateur.

What to do next? Despite R's warning above, the only thing to do is say yes. And keep saying it, again and again. To do anything less is too small an act for the glorious demonic intelligence of lust.

While a preemptive goodbye, as R suggests, may stave off the terror for a time, it is pointless really. Our demons are only avoidable for so long. Sooner or later each of us will be called to say yes to that love which will ultimately bring our many deaths, an annihilation which, as every lover correctly intuits, is our only chance to gain admittance to the life which exists under the one we think we're living.

Say yes.

Provocateur, thank you for writing, for pouring out your words into this poor thirsty world. Yours is an old voice, the clear water of a hidden well.

You say goodbye.

The victory, while sweet and delicious, will fade. Soon the monster of insecurity that steers the wheel of who you are, will be back in control.

You have acquired the culmination of everything that drives you to bring words to life. The strife to attain the highest level of our inner needs. Do you hear the fear? Will you sustain your high or will you give in to the lower expectation you feel you deserve. Will her heat at the center of her being grow cold, leaving you to have a conversation with your demon?

With our greatest highs come our greatest depths.

You have an amazing mind and so much talent to mold the words around those abysmal depths of male/female emotion. Thank you for your gift and my apologies for such a lame offering of poorly crafted words.

This is just exquisite. So beautiful and touching.

What do you do next?

That is the hardest question of all.

Sublime - leaves me wistful and wishful of experiencing such depth of experience... it has no words, does it? It just is. Beautiful.
